LVBrown Studios prepared a Comprehensive Master Plan for a 445-acre former agricultural property along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Lauren worked closely with Eco-Resource Consulting Inc, who wrote the property's Land Management Plan and actively oversee restoration and education activities at the site, including wetland restoration, prairie burns, and woodland management. LVB was hired to develop a long-term vision of the property with the overarching mission to rebuild soil health through a working agricultural landscape, and fostering environmental stewardship by providing an immersive outdoor classroom for students in the local region. The Master Plan illustrates 165-acres of Nature Preserve program—including access, trails, viewsheds and educational structures—through restored wetland, woodland and prairie, and 320-acres of integrated and regenerative agriculture—including a phased mix of rotational grazing and small grains.
