Violet Crown Trail Interpretive Signage Design

Client: Hill Country Conservancy, Austin, Texas | 2025

Interpretive signage displays celebrate Austin’s natural wonders along the Violet Crown Trail in Zilker Park.

The Hill Country Conservancy commissioned LVBrown Studio to develop the graphic design of four interpretive panels for the brand-new Mile Zero Violet Crown Trailhead at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas.

The panels celebrate the native plants and pollinators of the local hill country region, the groundwater aquifer that feeds the iconic Barton Springs natural swimming area, and the long-term dedication of local leaders and organizations who have worked together to protect Austin’s natural wonders at the edge of downtown. The free-standing trail signs were installed in time for the celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 15, 2025.
