Stage Zero Field Guide Map Illustration

Client: The Watershed Center, Niwot, CO

LVB created a two-sided, tabloid-size exhibit for The Watershed Center to communicate site-specific benefits of river restoration features installed at the Stage Zero demonstration site on LeftHand Creek. Features include beaver dam analogs, off-channel ponds, multi-threaded channels, backwater wetlands, drop structures, and fish passage improvements. LVB toured the site, photo-documented key features, and analyzed GIS and aerial imagery to extract relevant site details. Lauren created a digitally drawn illustrated map and designed the graphic presentation. She also consulted on the feature narrative text, drawing from river restoration experience and science communication.
