Lake Farm County Park Dedication Kiosk Signage Design

Client: Dane County Land & Water Resources Department

Dane County, WI | 2019

Dane County Parks commissioned Lauren to develop the dedication signage to celebrate William G. Lunney’s 50 years of continuous service to Dane County parks and open spaces. The project involved historical research and sifting through the numerous accomplishments of Bill’s early years of civic leadership, highlights from his 30 years as Parks Chair, and the couple’s combined efforts in parks volunteerism and philanthropy.

Lauren conducted personal interviews, outdoor photography sessions with Bill and his wife Judie, and interviews with Dane County Parks staff. Their story is organized by theme on three 16-foot square panels and installed as a permanent kiosk display at the park renamed in Bill’s honor.
