Indiangrass Preserve Trail Map Design

As an ongoing mapping partner for the Coastal Prairie Conservancy, LVB designed a visitor map for the Indiangrass Preserve, home to the Katy Prairie Welcome Center, located within the ~20,000-acre Katy Prairie Preserve. The map supports visitor orientation and wayfinding while showcasing the preserve’s diverse recreational, educational, and restoration landscapes. Working from GIS data, aerial imagery, and field observations, LVBrown Studio created a clear, engaging map highlighting trails, wetlands, wildlife viewing areas, research sites, and native plant nurseries. Installed at key trail intersections, the maps help visitors confidently navigate the landscape and gain a deeper appreciation for the Conservancy’s restoration and stewardship mission.
