Groundwater Discovery Center Vision Plan

Client: Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District | 2026

When the Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District (CTGCD) purchased a new 4-acre property for its district offices, the organization saw an opportunity to expand its public education and community outreach. CTGCD hired LVB to develop an interpretive vision plan and site concept that illustrate the potential for outdoor learning spaces focused on the Texas Hill Country’s unique hydrogeology and water-resource challenges.

The vision organized the site into thematic zones featuring interpretive exhibits, demonstration gardens, gathering spaces, and conservation-focused programming. The resulting vision plan provides a framework for building stakeholder support, securing future funding, and guiding phased planning and implementation.
