Blazing Star Sanctuary Illustrated Map

Client: Nature’s Burial (Coastal Prairie Conservancy) | 2025

LVBrown Studio created an illustrated map of the new 68-acre Blazing Star Prairie and 8-acre Blazing Star Sanctuary located within the Indiangrass Preserve unit of the Katy Prairie Preserve. The sanctuary is the first conservation cemetery in Texas certified by the Green Burial Council.

LVB transformed black-and-white landscape architectural drawings into a color-rendered plan highlighting the site’s restored ecosystems, nature trails, and natural burial grounds. The map art is intended for Nature’s Burial’s project communications and promotional collateral.

Lauren provided design consultation, promotional copy and graphic design services for a 4×9 inch rack card using brand files and photography supplied by the client.
